A little history
My journey began with practicing many types of martial art and self defence systems over the last 40 years.
Soon I changed martial art practice for martial art health, which grew to include movement disciplines in a wider range of physical training — Dancing, Calisthenics, Primal, Capoeira, and more.
Simply put, a study of movement for mobility.
Opera House Tai Chi
Opera House Tai Chi was created by my teacher Lun Kwik Kwong, who taught an expanded style of martial art created in the late 1930s.
Opera House is more performance orientated, which makes it fun to learn.
People 40+ seek balance, flexibility, mobility, mental wellbeing, and social engagement — all gentle and safe for bodies that don't respond well to high-impact workouts.
My weekly classes add an edge of challenge to enhance strength — from most basic to something challenging.
